Deseo Salon & BlowDry

I agreed to take down my initial review after being offered a refund but have since reconsidered. I've gone from horrified to livid. Prior to my visit, I was ecstatic to get a much needed cut and color from such highly reviewed "experienced" stylists. Regrettably, this is the worst hair cut I have ever had in my life. My long face framing fringe that I very clearly requested more than once is short and choppy and uneven. The color is way too dark despite me explaining, more than once, that I wanted to keep it more natural and stay away from overly dark. My hair looks black in the daylight, especially on the ends. I don't feel I was ever really listened to and my service was rushed and sloppy and frankly a little rough.The stylist was double booked which resulted in my color sitting for over an hour. I am truly embarrassed to be seen with my hair in the state that it is. There is NOTHING professional about this cut. To be fair, this disaster is the work of 2 separate stylists collaborating on 1 astounding mess. After it became painfully clear that bangs were not stylist #1's specialty, stylists #2 was summoned and promptly picked up a scissors and took a whack at it. After expressing my dismay, stylist #2 (Mallory) very smugly explained why it was that I should be delighted with this creation. I expected more from a "luxury" salon staffing "highly experienced hair professionals " but here I sit with my Fred Flinstone fringe and black hair. 2 thumbs down.👎 In response to the reply below. I have not had anyone try to contact me after my first conversation with the "manager."

I had the absolute best experience with Carly! I was very apprehensive about my cut and highlights but she made me feel very at ease and explained everything she was doing. My hair turned out better than I could have ever expected! She even helped me understand how to style my hair with my new layers. She was so sweet and I will definitely be coming back!

I’ve been seeing Mallory for 3 years now and there’s absolutely no one else I’d trust with my hair. She’s taken me from short and pink, to long and blonde, to dark brown, all the while maintaining my natural curls and keeping my hair healthy. I trust her completely! She is always realistic and won’t lead me astray but listens to what I want and helps make my dreams come true. The salon is always clean and inviting. Love this salon!

Maureen did my hair exactly the way I wanted and it has never looked better! She made the color and cut I asked for look natural, and just like the reference photos I showed her. She also offered a dry cut which is a great option for my wavy hair. Aside from doing a great job, she was super cool, which was a plus. Overall it was a delightful experience and I will definitely be coming back.

Carly is a very skilled hairdresser who truly impressed me. She carefully listened to my preferences for a hair color, and the result was exactly what I had in mind. Her expertise in creating the perfect shade left me with beautiful and healthy-looking hair. I highly recommend Carly for her outstanding skills and attentive approach.

Had the best experience at Deseo! Everyone was so welcoming, the entire experience was great and I absolutely love how my hair turned out! Jerra is amazing. She made sure she really understood what I wanted whilst also offering her expertise, which I really appreciated. My hair has never looked better. Highly recommend, can’t wait to go back!
